The Alpena Youth Sailing Club provides equipment and US Sailing certified  instructors for Grand Lake Sailing. Both Optimist Sailing Classes for youth above age 8 and JY-15 Racing classes are offered. 

 

2023 Grand Lake Dates
 

July 24^th - July 28th 
 

Morning (Optimist)     
10am  - 1pm        $150*

Afternoon (JY 15 Racing & Optis)   
1:45pm  -  4:45pm      $150*
This is an intermediate / advanced racing clinic. 
Open to children who have had previously taken 1-2 years of sailng.  Afternoons on Grand Lake can be a bit windy and instructors want to make sure children have had some experience.

*$10 discount if registered before June 15th
